Nodding his head, he turns again to glance at the barman and then back to Blaise.
"I suppose it's doable, dutch courage or no... And seeing as I am currently interpreting inevitable to mean 'a conversation that will not be had on this eve' then should I assume we're making our way to the bar?"
he smirks, rising from his seat without waiting for an answer and heading towards the bar, brushing off a dusty seat with one hand before lightly perching himself on it and smiling towards Aberforth.
"Now.. About that proposition.."

Blaise straightened, up, watching his friend go to work on the goat-loving barman. He levelled off his shoulders and straightened his back, making sure he looked as big as he possibly could.
"We have a proposition for you, Aberforth. Once which will ensure we have a constant supply of firewhiskey and you're still making a good profit on our custom."
Blaise smirked.
"Besides us, is there actually anyone who buys the firewhiskey?"

Looking towards Blaise with a smirk at the boy's latter words, Draco turns back to Aberforth and raises his eyebrows as the man simply comments 'Not at 10 Galleons a pop, no.'.
Finding such a statement rather annoying as well as rather plainly rude, Draco leans over the bar with a rather devious grin, his eyes narrowed as he speaks in a rather quiet but deathly serious tone.
"That's all well and good, but even we won't be paying those prices any longer.. We will be paying a maximum of 5 Galleons per bottle from now on, and that includes the price of a.. Well, I suppose you could call it a courier service of sorts.."
He pauses, smiling.
"And before you ask, the reason for all this is rather simple.. I'm sure you're more than aware of who my father is, as well as the matter of his ability to buy and sell this shop twenty times over without breaking a sweat or denting his Gringotts account.. Now, I'm sure that given the addition of my father's ministerial connections, a man of your.. well, I don't know if you could really call it a standing, but I lack a more fitting word so it'll have to do for now.. would really appreciate a bunch of ministry sorts poking around in this dive of a bar, investigating such a 'horror' as you supplying alcohol not only to students, but to underage ones.."
Draco smiles again, backing off from the man and chuckling to himself before raising a shoulder in a shrug.
"All threats aside though, you should take a great deal of comfort in such a deal given that if you scratch our backs, we'll be sure to find a way to scratch yours.. If you can find a way of getting alcohol to us, I'm sure we can divert a few more customers your way; customers that will easily make up for our unwillingness to pay such hefty prices..."
Raising an eyebrow, he holds a hand out across the counter.
"So, what do you say, Abe? Do we have a deal?"

*Blaise smirked as Draco mentioned his father's name, being a pureblood from such an illustrious heritage often came in handy, when it came to the matter of intimidation. He watched the barman fidget behind the bar, before finally answering.*
'Yeah, alright, we have a deal.'
*Blaise smirked and looked at his friend, quirking his eyebrow slightly.*
"What do you reckon, mate? We'd easily go through, a bottle every couple of days, each, maybe more if we're feeling particularly merry, so, fifteen bottles each, for a month's supply that would be....?"
*He quickly worked out the sums in his head.*
"150 Galleons per month? With an option to reduce or increase the order at any point. Maybe we could give Abe here, another 5 Galleons for his trouble?"

At Aberforth's agreement, a smile slowly creeps across the blonde's lips, his head nodding once towards the man as Blaise begins to speak. Mulling over his friend's words, he nods along with Blaise's assumption, smirking slightly at his words before offering a shrug at how much that would come to. Sums were hardly his forte; sitting in line to a proverbial throne supported by a hefty sum of galleons, didn't immediately lend itself to one needing to work out the price of things rather than just paying it without regard.
Raising an eyebrow as Blaise quotes the price, he shrugs favourably.
"I'm sure we could spare him that," He grins. "if not a little more for his trouble." Nodding his head, he turns his gaze back towards the barman. "How about an additional ten, and I'll find a way of getting the money to you by the week's end. And it would be appreciated it if the product was delivered.. discreetly? I'm sure you'll think of something."

Blaise nodded.
"I think we can manage ten."
He smirked a little at Draco's mention of discretion.
"And that doesn't mean delivering it in a bag crate labelled; Firewhiskey for Slytherins."
He raised an eyebrow.
"We'll have the same again, when you're ready... Why don't you put it on our tab?"
Aberforth grumbled, shaking his head. 'You don't have a tab.'
"Well, set one up for us then, we can pay month along with our delivery."
He looked to Draco.
"Sound good to you, mate?"

Smirking at Aberforth's comment on them not having a tab, Draco had predicted Blaise's words to follow with a smirk to himself before the boy had even spoken. Turning to Blaise as he speaks again, Draco nods his head in agreement; A tab would be handy, indeed.
"Sounds perfectly reasonable to me."
With a slight shrug and an extension of his arm so as to grab for the firewhiskey, Aberforth soon responds to the gesture and passes the bottles across with a shake of his head and a slight smirk.
Taking the bottle with a nod towards the older man, Draco heads back towards the seats he and Blaise had previously been sat in, perching in the same chair and immediately opening his bottle with a grin towards Blaise
"Well, that went surprisingly well.. Are we finishing these here? or heading back?"

*Blaise shrugged his shoulders.*
"It's not a full moon, let's walk and drink. I'm sure the conversation will eventually reach it's inevitable point once we've drank enough."
He smirked and raised his own bottle to his mouth, taking a drink.
"Want to walk by the quidditch pitch and charm all the stands so they all are flying our colours again?"
*He paused, scrunching his a face a little.*
"Did that make any sense? Merlin I think the stuff's actually starting to work."
He took another drink from his bottle.
"Come on, mate."

Mimicking Blaise's shoulder shrugging in reply to the boy stood before him, Draco soon stands up, finishing off the remnants of the first bottle that was still on the table before picking up the fresh one, cradling it underneath one arm as he shrugs the hood of his cloak back over his head. As Blaise mentions the 'inevitable conversation' once more, Draco chuckles and shakes his head.
"Fine with me; drunken walking it is then.. But you do realise that no matter how many times we have the inevitable conversation, my argument on such a matter is still not at all likely to change, right?"
He smirks towards his friend, plucking the bottle from under one arm, removing the cap and taking a long swig as he heads towards the door. Turning over his shoulder to give a nod towards the barman, he turns back to Blaise as the two get outside the pub a moment later, with a grinning nod at the boy's words on changing the Quidditch pitch decor.
"Of course I do.. When have you ever heard me turn down a pro-slytherin proposition? Well, aside from a few ladies that happen to reside in our house.. And yes, that did make sense.. Although, I am rather well versed in drunken-Blaise-ese, so perhaps it didn't and I'm just a jolly good translator"
He pauses and frowns towards the bottle in his hand, raising an eyebrow towards it.
"And, bugger.. I just voluntarily used the word 'jolly' in a sentence, so yes.. I think this stuff is starting to work..."
His slightly miffed look towards the bottle fast turns into a grinning chuckle at such words, a sudden wave of drunkness seeming to wash over him as he spoke such words aloud. Shrugging and deciding that even the sudden drunken aspect to things was far from enough, he raises the bottle to his lips again and takes a hearty swig.

Blaise nearly spat out his firewhiskey as Draco contemplated using the word: jolly. Feeling highly amused by this he took a drink from his own bottle as they began to walk.
"I am fully aware that you're argument will not change mate, but I suppose that's why we keep having the conversation."
Blaise chuckled a little a took another drink from his bottle.
"Oh, I have an idea, this time, while we're doing a bit of re-decorating, while don't we put epoximising charms on half of the seats? I can see some highly amusing time arising from that particular situation."
He took another swig from the bottle, a warm feeling spreading through his body, he suspected the quantities of firewhiskey he had consumed were probably starting to take effect.
"Why don't we get the conversation over and done with now because I think I'm starting to get drunk enough to think it's a good idea."

Smirking at Blaise's comment and giving the boy a drunken shove in the side, he chuckles slightly at having done so, raising an eyebrow.
"I think you mean that's why you keep on at me about the conversation.."
He smirks, taking another drink from his bottle and trying to keep his path somewhere near straight; failing every few footsteps as his footing got a little wonkier. Chuckling at Blaise's idea to follow, he nods.
"I'm game for that, although you can do the honours of climbing up into the stands.. I'd rather not break my neck this evening if it's all the same to you.. Good idea though, mate."
He continues to alternately swig from the bottle and smirk to himself up until Blaise mentions the conversation once more, Draco's eyes rolling at such. With a sigh, he shakes his head, sounding rather resigned.
"Well, you know that I'm not going to be the one to start it, so feel free, if you really must.."

Blaise took another drink from his bottle, laughing at the 'breaking his neck' comment. At Draco's refusal to start the conversation, Blaise pouted, sticking out his bottom lip.
"Well fine, if you're not going to play, I won't bother. But if you start bringing it up later, don't blame if I don't want to talk about it."
He took another drink from his bottle and shoved Draco's shoulder, probably a little harder than he meant to.
"Spoil sport."

Laughing in a rather drunken manner at Blaise's sudden pouting, Draco shakes his head, giving his friend another shove in the shoulder.
"You are such a woman sometimes, Zabini.. Still, I can safely say that there will be no conversation having, well, nopt conversation having in the sense of involving the conversation that you are thinking.... hang on..." He pauses, frowning. "What was I saying?"
Shrugging it off and waving a hand at his suddenly forgotten words, he takes another long drink from his bottle only to stumble slightly as Blaise shoves him, spilling a fair portion of his firewhiskey on the ground in doing so and returning Blaise's earlier pout
"I'm the spoil-sport?! At least I didnt waste any perfectly good alcohol... twat..." He smirks.

Blaise laughed, he had no idea what his friend was trying to say, but it still sounded highly amusing to him. He chinked his bottle against his friends and took a drink from the neck.
"Mate, I have no idea what you just said, but it was funny. Bloody hell it was funny."
He grinned at Draco.
"Stop your whinging, a few drops is hardly going to make a difference, I think we're both well on our way."

Draco smirks, waving a hand again at Blaise's comment and speaking in a somewhat sarcastic tone.
"Well, if it was funny then I'm sure my point got across.."
He chuckles to himself, taking another long drink and rolling his eyes at his friend.
"I'll agree with the well on the way remark.. And I'll have to remember the excuse should I ever knock a bottle from your hands..."
Smirking, he took another long drink from the bottle as the two headed back towards the school.
